Colorado requires that a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) applicant demonstrate competence with a handgun by taking a class taught by a certified firearms instructor (C.R.S. 18-12-203) and your CONDITION ORANGE certificate will exceed the Colorado state requirements for the ”Handgun Safety Class” (C.R.S. 18-12-202.5).
